LEAK / MOISTURE INTRUSION ANALYSIS
All elements of a building – the walls, roof and below-grade waterproofing systems - are exposed
to moisture interference. One of the more complex types of “leakages” are the ones that happen
below-grade or within a system with complicated overburden. As we all know leaks are not always
visible; they can often begin from a questionable or neglected source. The extent is to be
associated with moisture interference analysis not just at the roof level, but the entire
building enclosure – including below-grade waterproofing systems. Our technical specialists
utilize a number of methods and protocols in locating and determining moisture intrusion
sources, depending on the sensitivity of the case. We have access to a full inventory of
infrared cameras, moisture meters, probe cameras, and other tools that assist in discovering
the cause and origin of a leak. Our fieldwork is to create and provide complete reports.
All moisture interference surveys are completely documented with a thorough
report that recognises the issue and gives recommendations on how to correct the found
insufficiency
AIR LEAKAGE SITE DETECTION
The compact, hand-operated PosiTest AIR Leak Tester tests the air barrier integrity of single,
two-ply and liquid layer systems, including roofing systems, air barriers waterproofing and ground
liners by discovering leaks. In accordance with ASTM E 1186, the PosiTest AIR will indicate if
leaks exist in the test area. Every PosiTest AIR comes finished with (4) containers of Test
Solution. The Test Solution is utilised to the test area prior to the initialization of the test.
The Test Solution has been specifically formulated not to
have any unfavourable effects on roofing, waterproofing, air barrier membranes or the PosiTest AIR
unit.
DISCONTINUITY TESTING (HOLIDAY SPARK TEST)
The earth element from the Pin Hole Detector (PHD) unit is attached to a suitable
earth point on the arrangement. A high voltage is applied to the dry surface of the membrane.
Where there are no errors present the membrane serves as an insulator, preventing the
movement of current out of the PHD . When the electrode crosses a defect or hole, the
high voltage crosses the gap between the electrode causing a current to flow. The sensory
and visible alarm on the PHD will inform the operator who can mark up the points in need
of improvement or repair.
SITE INSPECTIONS AND CONDITION ASSESSMENT
All weatherproofed fields in a structure need periodic inspection and maintenance
in order to function as designed and to give an effective service life particularly
for accessible areas such as roofs. Periodic inspection and sustenance is also typically
needed by roofing system operators to keep roofing warranties in full force and effect.
Although all building owners should introduce a periodic roof inspection program,
inspection and maintenance of any roof should be undertaken only by qualified persons
who are accustomed to safe roofing practices, including all relevant occupational,
health and safety regulations relating to the roofing and building industries.
Because modern waterproofing systems comprise a wide variety of components and installation
techniques. Typically inspections should be conducted twice in a year.
QA/QC INSPECTION
Quality assurance and quality control is a vital aspect in today's construction business;
it is equally important to make versed and intelligent decisions during the design process
in order to achieve long-term benefit.
Our professional staff is equipped to conduct out-and-out and detailed inspections,
with services oriented to acknowledge important inspection milestones, including:
- Confirmation and documentation of system elements and supplies.
- Documenting adequate conditions for system installation.
- Documenting and recording installation methods and advance.
- Documenting possible installation and describing problems, and making suggestions for improvement, if required.
-
- Confirming ultimate acceptance of the installation.
- It is very important to document construction actions during all phases of a specific project.
All QA/QC inspections are supplied with photography and color duplication reports
distributed to key project staff. Typically, all daily Field Reports are issued by the
start of the following business day to aid correction of items of non-conformance and
reduce the risk of construction errors, which can lead to water infiltration and
related problems
WATERPROOFING
Roof maintenance and waterproofing can consume large proportions of a building owner's overall maintenance funds. Roof leaks can lead to long-term building damage, immediate damage to building equipment and content, and can interrupt normal business operations. Problems like this can cause you great loss. Therefore it is very important to waterproof your roof with advanced technologies and superior products.
Our specialised staff is trained to conduct absolute and detailed inspections and provide the best waterproofing solutions. We use superior quality roofing materials that contain elastomeric, polyurethane, silicone, urethane, and PMMA. We also make sure that the roof coatings used can redirect away UV rays and other harmful rays that can help maintain a low temperature inside your homes and buildings.
DESIGN REVIEW
Modern buildings are constantly being designed and built. The scope is to create
roofing and waterproofing systems and attachments that are watertight at the roof,
as well as the complete building enclosure. Whether the project is new construction
or alterations to an existing building, the company is to provide speciality services
in the form of design review. As many already know, "industry standards" do not
always apply to all building designs. In several cases, it takes original solutions
to come up with an idea that is long-term and low-maintenance.The most important
is to keep updated on new roofing and waterproofing products and installation
standards for this business and to prepare a detailed reference technical library.
